Open to anyone working at Green Park or from anywhere else.

Race Information

The Miles Stronger Mile takes place on Thursday 10th September 2015 in Green Park, Reading. The one mile course is around Green Park, mainly on gravel paths and pavements.

The event is open to anyone over the age of 15, and for those who work at Green Park or from around the local area and beyond. The inaugural Green Park Miles Stronger Mile is set to attract those from experienced runner to anyone who is new to running and fancies finding out how fast you can run a mile.

The race is being hosted by organised by Miles Stronger Ltd with Green Park and the race perations and directions by Barnes Fitness.

Race Entry

The race is open to anyonve over the age of 15 and starts at 12:30pm in Lime Square. The race will be organised in waves, grouping entrants with similar predicted finish times into the same waves.

You will be notified of your start time in advance.

Runner Information

Number Collection

Entries are made online here. Your race number will be available for collection on the day. Please aim to arrive at the race village at least 30 mins prior to your race start time.

Getting to the Race

By Car - Green Park is located next to Junction 11 of the M4 so is ideally situated to arrive my car. ample parking is available in s designated race car park. Details to follow

By Train - If arriving by train you will need to take a train to Reading main station and connect with the Green Park bus.

Course Map

The course is mainly on gravel paths and pavements. A course map will be available shortly.

The course does cross the road where marshals will direct you, but we ask you to take care when crossing the road in particular as they are not closed to traffic.

Waves / Start Times

You will be entered into a Wave of runners depending on your predicted mile time. Precise Wave start times will be announced nearer the race, but the we expect the Waves to start around every 10 mins.

One Mile Sprint starts at 12:30pm

The race starts and finishes in Lime Square

Race Finish

The race will finish adjacent to the start to allow ease of spectating. When you cross the finish line you can also collect your medal and goodybag.
